1What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device — computer, phone, tablet — when you visit a site. It can be used to make the site work, remember your preferences, secure your purchases, or measure audience figures.

2What this site sets

The sign-in cookie is exempt from consent: without it, every page would ask you to sign in again. You can get rid of it at any time by signing out. Meta’s cookies, however, are never set without your consent.

3Audience measurement, without cookies

To know which pages and events people care about, and to improve the site, we count visits ourselves. No cookie is set and nothing is written to your device for this. For each page viewed, we record:

• the address of the page viewed;
• the site you came from (for example Instagram or a search engine);
• the country, the approximate city (inferred from the connection) and the device type (phone, tablet, computer);
• the time spent on the page;
• the words typed into the site’s searches — anything resembling an email address or a phone number is not kept;
• an anonymous identifier recalculated every day, used to count the visitors of a given day. Your IP address is used to compute it but is not stored, and the identifier cannot recognise you from one day to the next.

When you book, where your visit came from that day (for example “Instagram” or “Google”) is attached to the booking, so we know which channels actually bring people. This data stays with us, is shared with no one, and is deleted after 13 months.

4Meta advertising (Facebook, Instagram), with your consent

We promote our events with ads on Facebook and Instagram. To find out whether they work and to show them to people who may like our events, we use the Meta pixel — but only if you click “Accept all” in the banner shown on your first visit.

If you accept, Meta receives the pages you view on this site, the events you look at, the start of a booking and your registrations. When you make a purchase, we also send Meta, from our servers, the amount, the number of places and, in encrypted (hashed) form, your email address, phone number and name, together with the IP address and browser used — to link the purchase to the ad that brought you. If you refuse, none of this is sent.

This data is received by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, which uses it under its own policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy) and may transfer it to the United States under the Data Privacy Framework. Refusing changes nothing about how you can use the site.

5Local storage

This is not a cookie, but it is written to your device, so we declare it. It is used for two things, and does not reach us:

• your favourites, when you save a listing or an event while signed out. If you later create an account, that list is offered for attachment to it — only then does it reach us;
• your choice about advertising cookies (accepted or refused, and its date), so you are not asked again on every page.

You can clear it by deleting the site’s data in your browser.

6Third-party services, when you reach them

Two other external services may set their own cookies, but only after an action on your part, and on their own domain — never on this one:

• Stripe, when you pay: you are redirected to a page hosted by Stripe, which sets the cookies needed to secure the transaction and prevent fraud.
• Google Maps, if you click the “view on map” link of an event. The link is inert until you click it: no map is loaded inside our pages.

This site uses neither Google Analytics nor any advertising network other than Meta, and loads Meta’s script only after your consent.

7Changing your mind, managing cookies

The “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page reopens the banner: refusing withdraws consent and deletes Meta’s cookies from this site. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings:
